Photos straight from a phone or camera are often 3–10 MB each, far more than a website or chat app needs. The RIZONI TOOLS Image Compressor re-encodes your images at an optimized quality, can shrink oversized dimensions, and shows you exactly how much space you saved.
You can compress a batch of images at once and download them all as a ZIP. Nothing is uploaded — compression happens on your device.

Why use Image Compressor?
Faster web pages and better Core Web Vitals scores.
Send more photos by e-mail without hitting attachment limits.
Save storage space on your phone, computer or cloud drive.
Private: your photos never leave your device.
How much can images be compressed?
Typical phone photos shrink by 60–90% at 70–80% quality, with no difference you would notice on screen. Images that have already been heavily compressed, such as pictures downloaded from social media, have less room to shrink.
Reducing dimensions has the biggest effect of all. A 4000-pixel-wide photo displayed at 1200 pixels on a website wastes more than 90% of its pixels. Turning on Limit maximum dimensions (for example 1920 px) fixes that.
About PNG compression
PNG is a lossless format, so a quality setting doesn't apply to it. That's why Auto converts PNG images to WebP, which supports transparency and is usually far smaller. If you need to keep PNG for compatibility, choose Same as input and reduce the dimensions instead.
Metadata such as camera details and GPS location is not copied into the compressed image, which is another small privacy benefit.
Privacy and security
This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your files are processed on your own device and are not uploaded to our servers. When you close the page, the data is gone.
Frequently asked questions
Will compression make my images look worse?
At the default 75% quality, most people can't see a difference on screen. Lower quality gives smaller files but can introduce visible artifacts, so check the preview.
How many images can I compress at once?
You can compress up to 20 images of up to 50 MB each per batch.
Does the tool remove EXIF data?
Yes. Re-encoded images don't include the original EXIF metadata, such as camera model or GPS location.
Why did one of my images not get smaller?
If an image is already well optimized, re-compressing it can make it bigger. In that case we keep your original file and tell you.
